Early-maturing with a medium strong, and rather upright habit producing large, firm and glossy blackberries from mid-August until the first frosts. It is such a super-producer, that it is now the number one variety used by commercial growers.

Blackberry Growing Tips: Happier planted in a sunny, sheltered site but they can tolerate light shade. Prefer moisture-retentive but well-drained soil. Blackberries are vigorous and need regular pruning. Tie in the shoots of newly-planted canes. Once they reach their first winter, cut back all sideshoots on the main canes. If you would like to eat the fruits yourself, don't forget to cover the plant to stop the birds getting them!
