'Pallida' is a large deciduous shrub with a spreading crown and broad oval, green leaves turning yellow in autumn. Pale yellow spidery flowers with a delicate fragrance appear on the bare branches throughout the winter. It's more upright than other varieties of Hamamelis, making it suitable for growing at the back of borders and in larger gardens. An excellent choice for adding a splash of colour to the winter garden.
Hamamelis Growing Tips: This small tree will thrive in any reasonable soil, but prefering neutral to acid conditions. Shelter from cold winds.
